Meet Sam
Sam Vermeij is our intern, replacing Alyssa during het maternity leave February to April. Sam happily studies electric bass at the Amsterdam conservatory, and is quite curious to learn about the classical music field, and the process of canvassing, booking, and taking good care of our exceptional artists.
My Story
Hi, my name is Sam and I am excited to help Marco at Domselaer for the coming months. I grew up in Leiden where I played bass in a band since I was 12. Now, 12 years later, I’m in my 3rd year of Bass at the Pop department of the Conservatory of Amsterdam where I play in a few Indie/Alternative projects. I have always been interested in the music industry, especially the booking and programming part of it so this is a great chance for me to have an insight in the business side of music. I told my school that I wanted to do an internship like this somewhere in the beginning of October. It’s a funny coincidence that this opportunity came around so soon and I’m looking forward to stay in contact with the artists and learn from them.
